Voiced by Lucy Liu, this narrative-driven experience invites you to step into the boots of infamous 19th century pirate, Cheng Shih.

Over the past 5 years, the studio has worked closely with academics, researchers and sensitivity checkers to create historically accurate environments and a narrative inspired by real events.

Driven to authentically portray 19th-century China, this research with academic experts included a detailed study into the British-China relations of the era.

This commitment to historical storytelling has earned the studio accolades such as The Discovery Award at the Raindance Festival and the Storyscapes Award at Tribeca for its meticulous attention to detail.

  • “The art direction beautifully sets up the scene and atmosphere, as you climb up the rigging on these gigantic 19th century ships and explore dusty scrolls in moonlit cabins.”

    — Dan Rockwood,  TechRaptor

  • “Inside Cheng Shih’s cabin, I lit a joss stick and placed it in an incense holder — an action I repeated every week at my grandfather’s altar when I was growing up. It felt so realistic that I tried to wave the joss stick to put out the flame and could almost smell the smoke.”
